Dirty Paradise is an international jewellery ecommerce, with collections designed in Spain and sales mainly across Europe and the United States. They reached out to improve not only new customer acquisition, but also retention and LTV optimization after the first sale.
The challenge: turning one-off buyers into recurring customers, and making every acquisition euro work on top of a well-managed database.
PHASE 01 — SCAN
Strategic diagnosis and hypothesis formulation
From the very first analysis, we identified the key levers:
- Clear headroom in their email marketing system and its integration with the business: automated email, dynamic segmentation and average-ticket strategies would optimize each customer’s LTV.
- On acquisition, room for improvement in segmentation and in the overall performance strategy on Meta and Google Ads.
- A database carrying accumulated inactive contacts, with an impact on deliverability and business visibility.
The main hypothesis was that working recurrence through automation —without neglecting acquisition efficiency— would generate more value per customer than continuing to push first sales alone.
PHASE 02 — BUILD & RUN
Execution and channel activation
We built the retention system and recalibrated acquisition in parallel:
- Marketing automation — we implemented Klaviyo (we are partners) integrated with Shopify, with full control of post-purchase flows, reactivation, database management and launches, together with ecommerce data analytics.
- Database hygiene — cleanup of inactive contacts to improve deliverability and data quality.
- Meta and Google Ads — we managed advertising to make CPA more efficient and generate more volume in the American and European markets.
PHASE 03 — RESULTS
Results and hypothesis validation
The results validated the focus on recurrence:
- +15% in customer LTV.
- Average purchase frequency up to 1.2 orders per customer.
- A cleaned-up database, with better deliverability and business visibility.
- Better CPA efficiency and sales growth in both markets.
SUMMARY
Executive Summary
Bravante helped Dirty Paradise build its retention system on Klaviyo + Shopify —post-purchase flows, reactivation, dynamic segmentation and database management— while recalibrating acquisition on Meta and Google Ads to improve CPA efficiency across Europe and the US. The result: +15% in LTV, an average purchase frequency of 1.2 orders per customer, and sales growth with better efficiency.
“Working the first sale is just the beginning. We decided to focus on generating recurrence and more purchases from the customers who already trusted us.” — A. Guitart, Founder at Dirty Paradise
